The Perfect Pumpkin

I make a glitter pumpkin every year. It is great for Halloween and for thanksgiving decorations.
You need: A pumpkin, glue, and orange glitter.
Oh, and black paint if you want to add a pumpkin face.
Add glue all over your pumpkin.
Rub in with finger tips.
Add your Orange glitter.
Dust off excess orange glitter.
The perfect pumpkin.
I love it and when people walk in the house they think it's fake.
I like the pumpkin with orange glitter, but it also looks great with gold glitter, or better yet, have one of each.
You could, also, put a pumpkin face on your pumpkin with black paint, Madison insisted that this year I gave my pumpkin a face.
Have fun and enjoy the orange glitter you will find all over your house for the next 2 weeks :)

Jax is home!

Jaxson is finally home. He was released one week ago and things are going pretty well. He did turn blue 4 days ago, due to lack of oxygen, but once we grabbed him he remembered to breathe again. It was the scariest thing ever! Preemies scare me. I wished he was still safe and sound in my belly. I should be 36 weeks pregnant; not having a 3 1/2 week old.
I can't wait to start posting creative things again. Everything has stopped once Jaxson came, but I hope to restart my creative ways again. I do miss doing cakes and do not know when i will find the time to do them.
I'm so busy with Tutu Fairy, and I love it! I'm starting my Christmas line now and it will be up next month. If yall have any ideas what I could make for my christmas line please let me know. I have 2 from last year: Miss Claus & Christmas tree, but if you have any ideas pass

Jaxson Update 2 weeks old.

He's not two weeks until 3:56am, but close enough. Jaxson is still in the NICU and these last 14 days have been hard. I can not wait for him to come home and to finally meet his sister, grandparents, aunts, and uncles. It's a lot of going back and forth. The hospital is 30 minutes away and I try to go twice a day, trying to finish Halloween orders and spend time with Maddie, it's all hectic. I don't seem to sleep any more. I just cant. I get about 3-4 hours a night, but I'm up thinking about my little man. Jaxson now weighs 5lbs 3oz. WHOOO HOOOO!! He's getting closer and closer to coming home.
Before Jaxson can be released he has to be able to eat out of a bottle 8 times a day. Right now he is at 4 bottles a day and the rest of his feedings are through his feeding tube (that is what is going in his nose).
Babies have to learn how to breath, swallow, and suck at the same time to eat out of a bottle. He is doing good and has it down but they have to slowly increase him so he does not get too stressed out.
His heart rate drops a few times a day but the doctors say he will grow out of it.
Right now I should be 35 weeks pregnant. Seems crazy that he should still be in my belly.
Once he gets home things will calm down and become "NORMAL" again. Then, I hope to start reading all yalls blogs again.... I MISS THEM!
Hope you all are doing great. I've seen some awesome cakes being made by yall and it's making me miss baking and decorating. Keep up the good work :)

Baby Jaxson

Yes I know I look like crap in this picture. I had no sleep and it was 7 in the morning. This was the first time I got to see Jaxson after birth. Well, I had a glance and was able to give him a kiss but this was the first time I could look at him for more than 5 minutes. Jaxson was born at 3:56am on 9.29.09 He weighed 4lbs 10oz and was 17 3/4 inches long. Daddy is so happy that his future football buddy is here. Look how tiny Jax is compared to Daddy's hand. His head is 3x smaller than Daddy's hand.
Madison still has not met Jaxson. She is so excited but since it's flu and rsv season no one is allowed in the Nicu except Mommy and Daddy. I cant wait for him to come home so we can have a family picture with all four of us.
Jaxson was 7 weeks early but looks great. Those steroids really helped his lungs. He is breathing on his own :)
