Jaxson's First Birthday Pictures

One month ago today was Jaxson's 1st Birthday!
You may remember when I was pregnant with Jaxson and the day of his birth. He decided to come 2 months early and hit a few bumps in the road. He was in the Nicu for 3 weeks and he spent his first Christmas in the Hospital.

I am very happy to say that Jaxson is a VERY very healthy one year old today (well, 13 month old now)!

He is all boy! I feel like a chicken with my head cut off, most days, because this boy is in to EVERYthing! He is so funny, so sweet, and a total ham :) He knows how to make my heart smile when I'm having a bad day and I am so lucky I was blessed to be his Mommy.

For Jaxson's 1st Birthay we had a Cowboy Themed party. This was his invitation with all the details on the backside.

We took these pictures at Samuell Farm in Mesquite, Texas. I made his "1" shirt. I used a red banana with Heat N Bond, ironed it on a Carter's Onesie, and stitched the number "1" in place. I think it came out adorable and if you decide not to make your one applique shirt you can purchase one from Tutu Fairy for $10.00.

IT was nap time an he had the giggles! He loves the camera and is such a HAM.

For all my new readers...

This is my amazing husband Daniel!

Jax just loves his kisses from Mommy :)

Next post will be of Jaxson's 1st Birthday Party

Number 1 Tip on Having a Great Blog...

Yes, if you actually write a post then you are on a good start to having a great blog!

I guess I should take my own advise and start blogging again :)

Halloween season, in my tutu world, is OVER and I can now turn my focus back to my blog. Well, until next cRaZy Halloween season of course.

Another tip for a great blog is to blog at least 3-5 days a week. You want your readers to want to come back on a daily basis to check you out. If they like your blog enough they will subscribe.

I haven't blogged in a MONTH. Yeppers it's been one month since my last blog post and I'm so sorry! Blogger has this thing where you can schedule your post to publish when you want it to and I didn't take advantage of it this year. I should have not let my blogging slip through my fingers, but sometimes it's hard to juggle being a wife, a mom of two kids, the household, sports/drill, blogging, cakes, and tutus. Whew... crazyness and Mommy needs a vacation :)

I have so many great things to blog about and I'm ready to start crafting again and showing it to the world (well, my readers at least).

If there is something you would like to learn how to create just let me know and I would love to blog a tutorial about it.
