Spring Yarn Wreath with Felt Flowers.

Spring Yarn Wreath

Check out this ADORABLE Spring Yarn Wreath made by a MCW reader named Sophia Grace.

Sophia said it was very time consuming wrapping the yarn around... but so cute!

Sophia cut out differnt shapes, size, and colored flowers out of felt and stacked them on top of eachother with a hot glue gun. The white polka dots are painted on with White Acrylic Paint.

 Perfect spring time wreath.

Thanks Sophia for sharing your creative way with us. It's super cute and I can't wait to make my own spring time wreath :)

Valentine's Day Love Nest Wreath. {DIY Monday}

Love Nest Wreath

I haven't made a Valentine's Day Wreath since the Heart Tulle Wreath a few years ago, so today I decided it was time for a new Valentine's Wreath.

I really like the way it turned out. Once I started adding the heart garland it looked like a little birds nest. I added two little love birds and broke up the heart garland with some red tulle.
This Love Birds sign I bought from Hobby Lobby on sale.

Easter Egg Tutu Wreath with Curly Ribbon

Click to view Michelle's tutorial on how she made her Easter Egg Tutu Wreath.

My favorite thing about Michelle's Easter Wreath is the curly ribbon. What a great idea and you've really inspired me to make a Birthday Party Tutu Wreath with lots and lots of CURLY RIBBON.

Looks great as a centerpiece, too!

Thanks for sharing Your Creative Way, Michelle :)

Tutorial:
Easter Egg Tutu Wreath

You may remember our blog post Christmas Ornament Tutu Wreaths Tutorial. This is very similar to that post. ENJOY and BE CREATIVE!

Supplies needed
Easter (styrofoam) Eggs
Wire
Tulle
Scissors
Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
Measuring Tape
Wire Cutters

Tutu Wreath Tutorial

1. Cut wire with wire cutters at 40" and form into circle shape.
2. Close the circle by twisting the wires together to make a wire wreath.

3. Cut your tulle at 8" long

If you're using by the yard tulle it will be 8" long x 6" wide.
Pick any color tulle you want. I used Yellow, Lime, Orange, Pink, and Turquoise.

You will need about 150 strands of tulle.

4. Grab your tulle by threes
5. Line your tulle up
 6. Tie all three strands of tulle in a double knot around your wire.

7. Continue until you finish 50 or so knots.

8. Tie a long piece of tulle around the top of your Tutu Wreath to hang it up.

This is what the back of your Tutu Wreath will look like.

9. Hot Glue some Styrofoam Easter Egss on your Tutu Wreath (optional) and hang up on your front door.

I haven't made a Tutu Wreath since last year for a friends baby shower, so it was fun making this one.

Tutu Wreaths are fantastic for Infant Nuseries, Holidays, and Room Decor. What could you do with a Tutu Wreath?
